React Job: Software QA Test Engineer

farmer connect® aims to help the food and beverage supply chain evolve into a collaborative data-driven model, connecting participants at every level. Our platform ConnectHub helps our clients to leverage supply chain data, enabling actionable insights through end-to-end traceability. As our platform continues to grow, we want to ensure that we can continue to offer our clients a high-quality service and are therefore looking for a QA Test Engineer.

You will be responsible for assessing software quality through manual and automated testing, finding & reporting bugs and working closely with both the product & customer success team to establish a high customer-product satisfaction. Ultimately, we envision you leading farmer connect towards QA/automation excellence!

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications, user stories and bugs
• Collaborate with software engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications and acceptance criteria
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to software engineering teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

• Experience in Agile frameworks and regression testing
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

• Proficient in test management software
• Good working knowledge of programming languages (C#, JavaScript, TypeScript or similar) and important frameworks/libraries (.NET Core, React)
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with a can-do attitude Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field)
• Minimum 5 years overall IT industry experience
• Minimum 1 years in a QA Test Engineer role
• The candidate must be fluent in English; other languages (ES, PT, JP) are a plus
